Modal Split

Celestial Journeys

Modal split is a stage in travel demand modelling that assesses transportation behaviour. It displays the percentage of travellers who use a specific mode of transportation compared to the total number of trips made. It typically measures the proportion of trips or items moved by each mode, such as automobiles, public transportation, bicycles, pedestrians, or freight trucks. Modal split analysis is widely used in transportation planning and policymaking to better understand travel patterns, evaluate the performance of current transportation infrastructure, and influence future transportation system investments.

As our four adventurers set out on their Celestial Journeys from the comfort of their homes, each embarked on their own unique commute, reflecting their individual personalities and preferences. their transportation choices not only define their characteristics but also set the stage for the serendipitous encounters that lie ahead. Through the diverse modes of transportation they embrace, our adventurers will soon find themselves crossing paths, intertwining their tails into a rich narrative of shared experiences and unexpected connections during their celestial journeys.
